World’s Largest Miniature Train Set
Miniature Wonderland, in Hamburg, Germany is one of the largest model railways in the world. The railway itself consists of 11,000 meters of track, covers sections of South Germany, Austrian Alpine, Hamburg, America, Scandinavia and Switzerland. The venue has 4,000 square meters of floorspace and the longest train length is 14.5 meters. It took more than 500,000 working hours to build. The project was started in December 2000 by two brothers Frederick and Gerrit Braun. It took the team 2.5 years to build.
As Ralph Wiggum would say, “I choo choo choose you!”
Have a song stuck in your head?
Unhearit! Replace that bad song with a multitude of other bad songs!
How many times have you had a particularly bad song stuck in your head? I know that when I used to swim competitively (which afforded me a lot of alone time with just my brain) I would get many songs looping endless in my head as I swam laps. (One of the worst situations was when I had the Frosted Flakes commercial song stabbing my brain… “Show ‘em you’re a tiger! Show ‘em what you can do!”)
Fuck… it’s back… Off to Unhear It I go!
