Zombigotchi: Cool Stop-Motion Animation
Michael Please has made a really cool stop-motion animation for a iphone/ipad game. Haven’t tried the game but you can download the paper cut out of the zombie used in the animation. Fun stuff!
I would definitely check out Michael’s other work as it’s all pretty cool.
Fan-made Opening Titles For The Walking Dead
Daniel Kanemoto of Ex Mortis Films put together an opening sequence for the new AMC show The Walking Dead. Motion comics really are starting to gain a special place in my heart.
I really enjoyed The Watchmen motion comic and I hope we get more in the future. I think it adds a nice twist to the comic genre (and we all know the comic industry needs all the help it can get these days).
Marvel has a whole site for their motion comics which everyone should check out. There is also some cool video of Batman Motion comics here.
Main titles for Frank Darabont’s television adaptation of THE WALKING DEAD, animated using artwork ripped from the pages of Robert Kirkman’s celebrated comic book series.
I personally like this fan-made intro a lot more than the actual AMC one (not that the AMC one is bad). Either way, Daniel did an amazing job with this so check out Ex Mortis Films for other work he has done. Zombie Wedding Officiated by Bruce Campbell
OMG! OMG! Yes, I thought I would only use that expression if I ever bumped into Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson but I just heard of something way better than Twilight! Sir Bruce Campbell has been ordained and he is ready to marry some zombies!
That’s right! Oct 30th, at ZomBcon in Seattle, Mr. Campbell will be marrying one lucky couple as the “Master of Ceremonies aka the Minister of the Dead.” And just when you thought it couldn’t possibly get any better, he will also be officiating a mass renewal ceremony, for those zombies that didn’t get to do it right the first time. He might be reading from the Necronomicon so be warned… There might be Deadite shenanigans!
